GREEN & COMPANY INTERIOR DESIGNERS  Gail Green is the founder and principal of Green & Company, Interior Designers and Consultants, incorporated in 1985. Educated at Columbia University and trained at David Estreich, Architects, Green has been in the design field for the past twenty-five years.

Green & Company is an interior design, decorating, and architecture firm specializing in upscale residential and commercial projects throughout the country. Attention to detail, timeless elegance, classical simplicity, and quality craftsmanship are our hallmarks. Her style, called “The New Serenity,” retains the best elements of modernism set within the idioms of the past. Her design interpretations fill rooms with light sophistication by artfully combining the latest products and techniques of the present with the romance of the past. 

Green & Company’s principle of combining form and function has led to many successful projects. Our professional approach to design is both creative and experienced. With a can-do approach, we are problem solvers with a solution-oriented attitude. Currently, Gail has enhanced her business by creating a new company Eastland Kitchen and Bath Design, whose area of expertise is to focus architecture and design skills towards the creation of kitchens and baths. In addition, Home staging is another recently added feature to her company. 

Ms. Green has been a featured designer in the prestigious Kips Bay Show House, and the Southampton, Greenwich, Southport, Ansonia, Cancer Care, and Mansions and Millionaires show houses. She has appeared several times on CNN’s Life Styles with Else Klensch and on NBC’s Today Show and House & Garden television. Ms. Green has also designed window displays for the Hermes 57th Street boutique and Baccarat in New York. Her work has been widely published in magazines such as House Beautiful, House, House & Garden, Elle Décor, Traditional Home, Maison Française, The New York Times, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, New York Magazine, Metropolitan Home, Interior Design Magazine and numerous others. In addition, her work has appeared in numerous interior design books and she has lectured widely on related topics.

Ms. Green is a member of the Women’s Forum, the Yale Club of New York, The Decorator’s Club board member, the Columbia Club of New York. In addition to her successful interior design practice, Ms. Green is a writer, scholar, and rare book connoisseur.
